A Little About Pasture Threads
Pasture Threads is a place for the things that make everyday life feel a little more grounded — growing food, cooking from scratch, preserving what we can, caring for animals, keeping a home running, and sharing what genuinely makes those jobs easier.
We live on a ranch in North Texas with our three kids, chickens, sheep, and Texas Longhorns. Our days mix garden rows, meals around the table, animal chores, school schedules, and projects around the house.
This site grew out of that everyday life.
What You'll Find Here
You'll find garden notes from what we are actually growing, recipes we make at home, canning and preserving methods we use, lessons from keeping animals, practical household routines, and favorites that have earned a place in our everyday life.
Some things are seasonal. Some are simple. Some took us a few tries to figure out.
We are not trying to make life look perfect. We are sharing what has worked for us, what we are still learning, and the things we would genuinely tell a friend about.
Why We Share What We Use
If we recommend a product on Pasture Threads, it is because it is something we actually use or have used ourselves.
You will not find products added simply because they are popular or available to link. Our Favorites page is meant to stay useful, so if something stops working for us, it does not need to stay there just because we recommended it before.
